I am a London (Crystal Palace) based jazz guitarist, composer, arranger and educator.

 

As a First Class graduate of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, my work spans live performance, composition and arranging, and music education.

 

As a guitarist, I perform regularly across the UK and internationally, working in a range of jazz and contemporary settings from small ensembles to large groups. I have led projects and tours abroad, and is active as a freelance performer in live, studio and session contexts.

 

Alongside work as a performer, I'm an experienced composer and arranger. I have received commissions for small ensemble, big band and orchestral contexts, and my writing combines strong jazz foundations with a broad contemporary influence. I regularly produce professionally engraved scores and parts for performance and recording.

 

Also an established educator, I have experience teaching across a wide range of ages and ability levels, both privately and within schools and music services. My teaching focuses on jazz guitar, improvisation, harmony, composition and developing a strong, individual musical voice.

 

I am currently based in Crystal Palace in London and I am available for lessons, performance, session work and commissioned projects.
